 With over 25 years of design experience, predominantly in the floorcovering industry, our In-House Designer can create exclusive carpet designs according to your client's specific requirements. Although woven carpet is generally more expensive than its tufted counterpart, this is not always the case. Having the ability to change design cards on the manufacturing looms easily allows not only great design flexibility, but also makes smaller runs of one-off designs quite feasible from both a cost and lead time perspective.
The extremely hard-wearing properties and long life-expectancy of these carpets is achieved by adding nylon to the fibre content, hence the term 80/20 blend. Our manufacturer of Axminster carpet is a Wools of New Zealand partner.
This carpet is ideal for commercial areas, eg hotel carpet , casino carpet, conference rooms, restaurant carpet, bars and apartments, ie quite literally any entertaining environment where there is frequent foot traffic. For the very same reasons, it is also perfectly suited to domestic applications.
